Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors
Children's Church School (Sunday School) is available during our worship services for children in grades K-6 (ages 5-11). The classes begin at approximately 10:40 AM. Please bring your child(ren) into the sanctuary with you. After the opening hymn(s) we offer "Children's Time" (pictured at right), during which our pastor invites all of the children present to come to the front of the church (parents are welcome to accompany them) to hear a special message prepared for them. Then the children are excused to either return to sit with their parent(s) or to leave the sanctuary to go to Sunday School, accompanied by their teacher.
Children's Church School takes a break each summer from June until September.
Occasionally there are other Sundays when Children's Church School isn't offered, such as Easter Sunday. The CALENDAR page here on our website and in our Sunday bulletins always indicates whether or not Children's Church School will be offered the following Sunday, or feel free to contact our church office to ask.
Children are always welcome to remain in the sanctuary during our worship services. (We're all aware that babies sometimes cry!) Activity packets for children are always available; just ask an usher.
Childcare during our worship services is available for children under age 5.
— During Coffee Hour after worship we're now opening an area on the Fellowship Hall stage, which we're calling our Kids Corner, where our children can enjoy books, puzzles & coloring while the adults in the room are socializing. (Please note that children should not be allowed to run or jump on or off the stage!)
— Youth are invited to sign up as Acolytes, to light candles for Sunday worship. A signup sheet is located in the Ushers Room. Questions? Contact our Youth Director, Erik Day.
— A baby changing station is located in the former women's restroom (now unisex) in the Education wing.

It's intentional that there are no recognizable photographs (showing faces) on our website of any of the children in our congregation — a safety precaution, to try to protect them from Internet predators.
